HPCL extends support to Akshaya Patra

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) extended their support to The Akshaya Patra Foundation by HPCL donates mid day meal delivery vehicle to Akshaya Patra donating a mid-day meal distribution vehicle. This support came as a part of their Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. 

Collector V Sheshadri handed over the meal distribution vehicle on behalf of HPCL. General Manager in-charge of HPCL V.V.R. Narasimham; Chief Installation Manager of Visakha Terminal N.V.S.S. Kameswara Rao; Chief Manager (Projects) K.V. Srinivasa Raju; and Senior Manger U.S. Sarma were the other dignitaries present at the occasion. The donated vehicle will be used to deliver mid-day meal to Anakapalle area of Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh.

Currently in Andhra Pradesh, Akshaya Patra is feeding more than 42,000 children. The overall reach of Akshaya Patra is more than 9000 Government schools thereby feeding 1.3 million children across 9 States of India, everyday.

Akshaya Patra wholeheartedly thanks HPCL for their valuable contribution.
